Another Hand-quilted project! I must be going crazy! It was kind of fun though. This is my other "crayon quilt" for the Guild Challenge in TN. The 2 colors I drew out of the bag were indigo and yellow-green, a combination that tastes like a sour apple in your mouth. Well I tried the idea of pink or orange or whatever with them and I just kept coming back to white. This became an inspiration of icy, snowy landscape of white and indigo with the greening bits of spring peeping through. A more positive image for sure. I hope those greening bits are getting ready!
I have always been an artist and with art quilts I have found a way to combine my two loves of painting and textiles.
