Here is another small quilt, part of my series called Spiritual Phenomena. It is a tribute to the connection I felt with the starry universe when camping in Utah. The sky was unreal, with stars spreading across the sky all the way to the ground. I am used to seeing stars only overhead, either because of atmospheric conditions, trees, mountains or city lights obscuring the view. Out there in the open spaces of the national parks, it is a starry vision of beauty.
